JOB DESCRIPTION:

The co-op program for students in their Junior or Senior year of study provides the opportunity to make big contributions that help us deliver advanced freight rail solutions now and in the future. This is your opportunity to make a big impact on improving the quality of how the latest generation of locomotive and freight car braking systems are manufactured. You can expect challenging work and an insiders view into your future profession. You will work as an individual and as part of a project team, while receiving regular feedback in preparation for a final presentation to company leaders.

 

Responsibilities could include:

  • Perform testing on complex integrated & networked systems
  • Configure test setups and control stands
  • Write test cases based on functional requirements
  • Utilize automated testing to quickly and efficiently collect test data for development teams
  • Write test reports

Required Skills:

  • Ability to read piping and wiring diagrams
  • Create tests from requirement specifications
  • Experience in a hands on in test lab
  • Capable of technical writing
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and Power Point

Education: Degree: Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering with a 3.0 or higher

Note: The anticipated wage scale for candidates who will work in Irving, TX or remote is $16.00 to $25.00/per hour. The final pay offered to a successful candidate will depend on their class year/status.
