JOB DESCRIPTION:

Position Title:              Engineer 3, DevOps

Reports To:                 Manager, Web Operations

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for day-to-day support of Azure Web Operations & DevOps

Essential Functions:

• Lead the effort to support DevOps & Web Operations of .NET stack on Azure IaaS & PaaS
• Develop and maintain effective CI/CD pipelines
• Mitigate cybersecurity risks and automate mundane infrastructure tasks including patching  
• Develop effective monitoring and alerting of production systems and perform on-going maintenance of it.
• Perform ongoing support to Development and DBA staff

Knowledge:

• Knowledge of Azure/AWS Cloud and Datacenter operations
• Knowledge of Azure/AWS Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS)
• Knowledge of Azure Platform as a Service (PaaS)
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps
• Advance knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and enabling tools used within Azure Cloud such Azure CLI, ARM, Terraform, etc.
• Knowledge of Cloud Compute, Storage and Networking
• Knowledge of Azure IAM (Identity and Access Management)
• Advance PowerShell scripting knowledge
• Knowledge of Python and Bash scripting
• Knowledge of .NET and C#
• Knowledge of building and deploying containers
• Knowledge of Linux OS and its administration

Experience:

• 3+ years’ experience in similar role
• 2+ years of experience with Windows Server Administration
• 2+ years of experience with implementation and support of cloud services on Azure.
• Certification in (Azure, AWS, DevOps)
• Experience with Azure DevOps
• Experience with logging and monitoring tools
• Experience with Risk Remediation
• Experience with Infrastructure Management
• 2 years of experience with network virtualization hypervisors, and ability to troubleshoot cloud communication issues
• Experience with container concepts and implementation
• Experience with APIs / Micro Services / RESTful Webservices
• Experience with Kubernetes is a plus
• Experience with managing Windows environments using PowerShell
• 2+ years of experience with GIT version control system

• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills in resolving application deployment and cloud infrastructure issues

• Good organizational skills, capable of maintaining schedules and communicating progress to management

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or a similar field is required.

Compensation:

For California employees, the company reasonably expects to pay within the following range (includes bonuses): $106,720 - $160,080
