JOB DESCRIPTION:
Responsibilities of Position:
- Programming and troubleshooting of PLC and electrical controls
- Bar code systems, panel views, testing equipment and existing production equipment
- Document Ladder Logic and other related programs
- Installation of any electric and electrical systems
- Act as a liaison between vendors and installation of equipment
- Assist Engineering Department with all aspects of electrical systems
- Provide Plant PC and related hardware support
- Support Process Capability Studies
- Support Test Stand Gage R&R
- Mentor/Coach Maintenance Technicians on PLC Programming and Ladder Logic.
- Implement Error Proofing and maintain the Poka Yoka Database
- Support Quality Imperative.
- Support Product Safety Management Systems as defined in TS 16949
Attributes/Skills Required/Sought:
- Experience in programming and troubleshooting PLC and computer integrated equipment
- Allen Bradley PLC experience (legacy and current systems)
- Siemens PLC experience (legacy and current systems)
Experience/Education Required/Sought:
- BS in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Electrical Controls
- Allen Bradley PLC experience required
- Siemens PLC experience required
- Six Sigma Certification preferred
