JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsibilities of Position:

• Programming and troubleshooting of PLC and electrical controls
• Bar code systems, panel views, testing equipment and existing production equipment
• Document Ladder Logic and other related programs
• Installation of any electric and electrical systems
• Act as a liaison between vendors and installation of equipment
• Assist Engineering Department with all aspects of electrical systems
• Provide Plant PC and related hardware support
• Support Process Capability Studies
• Support Test Stand Gage R&R
• Mentor/Coach Maintenance Technicians on PLC Programming and Ladder Logic.
• Implement Error Proofing and maintain the Poka Yoka Database
• Support Quality Imperative.
• Support Product Safety Management Systems as defined in TS 16949

 Attributes/Skills Required/Sought:

•  Experience in programming and troubleshooting PLC and computer integrated equipment
•  Allen Bradley PLC experience (legacy and current systems)
• Siemens PLC experience (legacy and current systems)

 Experience/Education Required/Sought:

• BS in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in Electrical Controls
• Allen Bradley PLC experience required
• Siemens PLC experience required
• Six Sigma Certification preferred
