JOB DESCRIPTION:

Location: Hong Kong

Reports to: Head of Finance & Controlling, Rail and Truck APAC

                                                                               

Responsibilities:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting financial reporting, analysis, and controlling activities across the organization.

 

  • Data extraction and integration: Gather financial and operational data from ERP, BI, and other financial systems.
  • Data validation and organization: Ensure accuracy, consistency, and readiness of datasets for analysis.
  • Reporting and dashboards: Maintain and update  standardized reporting templates recurring reports, dashboards, and databases to support routine finance cycles, including month-end closing, quarterly forecasts, and annual budgets.
  • Financial analysis: Perform in-depth analysis of financial data to support management decision-making.
  • Presentation support: Assist in preparing financial presentations for business reviews and management meetings.
  • Cross-team collaboration: Communicate and coordinate with local finance teams to clarify issues identified during analysis.
  • Process improvement: Propose and implement enhancements in data handling, reporting, and coordination workflows.                                                                                                                            

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.  CPA qualification is a must
  • Minimum of 6 years solid experience in accounting, audit experience is a plus
  • Experience in finance related function in a MNC environment
  • High attention to details and accuracy; excellent analytical skill
  • Strong time management; able to handle multi-task
  • Good organizing and communication skill across functions and regions; high cultural sensitivity, good team player 
  • Solid proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, formulas); PowerPoint skills essential
  •  Experience with ERP systems and financial planning tools is a plus; familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Power BI) is an advantage.
  • Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Able to work under pressure and tight schedule in a dynamic working environment independently
