Assistant Finance Manager / Senior Accountant

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Location: Hong Kong

Reports to: Financial Controller                                                                         

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Responsible for full sets of accounts, month-end closing process and reporting 
  • Monitor business service center for daily operation & month-end closing
  • Prepare accounts breakdown, reconciliation and adjustment for discrepancies
  • Oversee assigned bank accounts status, release payments, check liquidity status and prepare cashflow analysis
  • Support statutory audit, profit tax filing for HK, Singapore and Taiwan
  • Compose and provide financial analysis data and reporting for annual budget and quarterly rolling forecast
  • Partner with supervisor and line manager to streamline accounting processes and strengthen internal controls
  • Perform ad hoc projects and special assignments

 

Requirements:

 

  • Degree in Accounting/ Finance and related majors, HKICPA / ACCA equivalent
  • 6+ years in a combination of Big 4 and Commercial
  • Work independently in HK office and supported by shared service center in Asia
  • Sound Microsoft office skills, particularly in excel and excel formulas
  • Prior experience in SAP is preferred; experienced in system enhancement
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good command in spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese & Putonghua)
  • Able to work under pressure and to meet tight schedule
  • Hands on and willing to roll up the sleeves
  • Candidates with more experience will be considered for Assistant Finance Manager
