JOB DESCRIPTION:

POSITION SUMMARY:                       

 

Conducts daily cycle counts based on the ABC cycle counting philosophy to include root cause problem solving to address missing inventory. Utilize the SAP computer system to adjust inventory based on the results of cycle counting.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

 

  1. Follows written and/or verbal instructions from Supervisors.
  2. Performs daily cycle counts.
  3. Conducts follow up inventory counts and location verifications on discrepancies.
  4. Assists in cycle count analysis and recounts.
  5. Performs physical product movement, stock rotations, etc..
  6. Conducts aisle location audits.
  7. Assists in inventory analysis and problem solving.
  8. Performs special inventory related projects as needed.
  9. Investigates and corrects quality control issues.
  10. Safely operates all necessary stockroom equipment (forklift, hand truck, scale, scanner, and computer). 
  11. Performs record-keeping duties.
  12. Follows all aspects of Standardized Work Instructions.
  13. Understands and adhere to current health, safety, and environmental policies (ISO14001). Is empowered to identify, stop, and communicate or escalate appropriate action in regards to safety, health, and environmental concerns.
  14. Understands current quality policies and procedures (IATF 16949). Is empowered to identify, stop, and communicate or escalate appropriate action in regard to product quality.
  15. Manage customer question communications via phone and email.
  16. Assist with warranty claim data entry and processing.
  17. Performs other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

Completion of high school diploma or GED

Requires at least 2 years of work experience in inventory, distribution, and operational procedures.

Must be able to operate various pieces of warehouse equipment, such as, cherry picker, fork lift and pallet jack.

Must be able to acquire forklift license in timely manner.

Strong math and attention to detail skills are required.

Must be able to effectively multi-task assignments.

Attendance on the job is essential.

Must be able to work in a team orientated environment.

Must be able to follow instructions, safety rules and regulations.

Must be able to read and follow written and verbal directions.
