YOUR TASKS
- Further development of the new electrically actuated steering generation for commercial vehicles
- Analysis of customer requirements and creation of the specification in cooperation with the customer
- Development of system and sub-component level requirements
- Analysis of the complex relationships in the steering system (electrics, electronics, SW, control algorithm, mechanics)
- Development and modeling of new functions at the application level in SysML using common modeling tools
- Support for the integration of new functions into the existing vehicle architecture
- Coordination and further development of the steering algorithms in the vehicle
- Preparation and integration of software adjustments
- Support for demonstration and development vehicles
- Interface in the cooperation of interdisciplinary teams
YOUR PROFILE
- Successfully completed studies in the fields of vehicle technology, electrical engineering/mechatronics, mechanical engineering or similar qualifications
- Interest in vehicle, steering and driver assistance systems
- Practical experience in the field of function development with model-based development tools
- Practical experience in handling and integrating sensors
- Good knowledge of development tools such as MATLAB / Simulink, Enterprise Architect, PTC Integrity, Vector, etc.
- Good knowledge of spoken and written English, knowledge of German desirable
Further knowledge that must be acquired in the absence of experience:
- Basic understanding of model-based system development
- Basic understanding of ISO26262
- Truck license
