Engineer Software Development (m/f/d) for SAE L4 System

  • Support by review and analysis of the customer requirements for an autonomous driving steering system
  • Development and implementation of fail-operational and fail-safe functions for a SAE Level 4 system in the application software
  • Development of test cases for autonomous driving functions at steering level
  • Development of algorithms and interfaces of software components and units for a redundant system
  • Implementation of fallback functions in an application software
  • Support by setting up a software test environment for release of a redundant system



  • Successfully completed studies in engineering with focus on software engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics or comparable qualifications
  • Several years of experience in the field of software development in the automotive industry and autonomous driving
  • Experience in the development of safety software according to ISO-26262 for autonomous driving systems
  • Experience with development tools such as PTC Integrity, Matlab/Simulink and Vector tools
  • Good knowledge of spoken and written English, knowledge of German desirable
