Main Tasks
- Cooperation in projects with development to secure purchasing interests in new developments, for cost- and benefit-optimal design and placement of components
- Assessment of the capacity, process and quality assurance for sample and pre-series parts at the supplier
- Management of key projects (project organization, planning, implementation, and control) together with other purchasing departments (locations, commodities, cost & value engineering)
- Independent analysis, conception and implementation of projects in strategic purchasing
- Assumption of the subproject manager function in new projects
- Project collaboration and coordination in international, cross-functional field
Requirements
- Technical or Commercial university degree
- Professional experience (minimum 5 years) in similar position in multinational company culture or consultancy experience in supply chain / sourcing / manufacturing / industrial development
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Extensive knowledge of sourcing, strategic sourcing processes, negotiation experience
- Strong project management skills
- Very good command of English written and spoken
- Willingness to travel
