Main Tasks

  • Cooperation in projects with development to secure purchasing interests in new developments, for cost- and benefit-optimal design and placement of components
  • Assessment of the capacity, process and quality assurance for sample and pre-series parts at the supplier
  • Management of key projects (project organization, planning, implementation, and control) together with other purchasing departments (locations, commodities, cost & value engineering)
  • Independent analysis, conception and implementation of projects in strategic purchasing
  • Assumption of the subproject manager function in new projects
  • Project collaboration and coordination in international, cross-functional field

Requirements

  • Technical or Commercial university degree
  • Professional experience (minimum 5 years) in similar position in multinational company culture or consultancy experience in supply chain / sourcing / manufacturing / industrial development
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Extensive knowledge of sourcing, strategic sourcing processes, negotiation experience
  • Strong project management skills
  • Very good command of English written and spoken
  • Willingness to travel
