MAIN TASKS

• Ensuring the Energy Management System is established, implemented, maintained, and continually improved
• Reporting to top management on energy performance and performance of Energy Management System (EnMS)
• Yearly target setting process for KB Group in alignment with the Top Management energy outlook based on previous years and energy demand collection
• Ensuring that the planning of energy management activities is designed to support the organization's energy policy
• Identification and evaluation of energy efficiency measures and CO2 reduction potentials to achieve the KB Group's climate protection goals
• Implementing action plans to continually improve energy performance and determining criteria and methods needed to ensure that both the operation and control of the EnMS are effective
• Executing Energy audits according to ISO 50001 and promoting awareness of the energy policy and objectives at all levels of the organization
• Ensuring the establishment and implementation of a comprehensive sustainability strategy with a focus on energy and environmental protection

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in Engineering in one of the fields of Energy and Environmental technology or a comparable qualification
• Experience in dealing with specific key figures as well as knowledge of relevant legal regulations in environmental protection and energy management regulations
• At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in the field of energy management or energy law
• Advanced knowledge of project management in the field of energetically relevant tasks, ideally in an international team
• Business fluency in German and English language
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills, cross-divisional and analytical way of working
• Willingness to travel
