POSITION SUMMARY:                       

Leads are responsible for all regular duties of their team and are also responsible to ensure that optimum OEE is achieved. The Lead will support the team by troubleshooting equipment, implementing production improvements, and ensuring Safety, Quality, and Production goals are achieved.



  1. Trains, develops, monitors, and supports team members using standardized work instructions.
  2. Monitors production operations to ensure product quality and production efficiency.
  3. Supports and conducts line set ups and changeovers.
  4. Covers absentee operators as needed.
  5. Strives to keep production line running to achieve optimum OEE.
  6. Ensures compliance with all Product Safety Procedure requirements; fully understand and ensure compliance with Product Safety Escalation Process.
  7. Communicates and works with other shifts to ensure consistency and that goals are achieved.
  8. Follows the daily team start up and end of shift routine regarding production goals and other plant metrics found on team boards.
  9. Updating, communicating, and addresses team board metrics.
  10. Supports and drives participation in KPS, including Quick Kaizens.
  11. Coaches team on basic problem-solving skills.
  12. Ensures AM/PM logs are up to date.
  13. Understands and adhere to current health, safety, and environmental policies (ISO14001). Is empowered to identify, stop, and communicate or escalate appropriate action in regard to safety, health, and environmental concerns.

  15. Ability to maintain professionalism and demonstrate company values each day.
  16. Ability to support team and company with honesty, integrity, respect, and compassion for others.
  17. Understands current quality policies and procedures (IATF 16949). Is empowered to identify, stop, and communicate or escalate appropriate action in regard to product quality.



  • Ability to facilitate teamwork and work in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.
  • Basic Computer skills are required.
  • Must be able to effectively multi-task assignments.
  • Strong Interpersonal and problem-solving skills are required.
