JOB DESCRIPTION:
Position Summary:
Serve as a key member of the Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems Controls, a member of Knorr Bremse financial planning and analysis team providing analysis to drive performance and achieve business objectives.
Essential Functions:
- Coordinate and support the annual MOP budget process Bendix CVS.
- Lead the FP&A team to support budget, financials and reporting
- Support the annual Strategic Planning Process.
- Lead various projects and effeciencies to provide improvement on financial reporting
- Drive monthly internal financial reporting and analysis/explanation of trends, projections and variances from plan/forecast and prior year.
- Partner with the the business and operations to understand the data to ensure sound business decisions are made by product and for the business overall.
- Develop, enhance and maintain reports, following the Bendix / KB standard, to satisfy internal and external reporting requirements.
- Recommend changes in the financial systems and processes as needed to ensure FP&A systems are maintained and functioning and meeting the needs of the business on a daily basis.
- Provide mentoring and training to FP&A Analysts.
- Drive a quick turnaround of ad hoc data requests from Business Leadership and Knorr Bremse.
- Support the Controls leadership team with proactive analysis and support on critical business initiatives.
- Provide and continuously improve the usefulness and presentation of monthly and quarterly financial and operating packages.
- Work with the business leaders and finance team on month end close.
Knowledge:
- IFRS
- FP&A analysis
- SAP Knowledge
- Basic knowledge of S/4 Hana
- Knowledge of data warehouses, data extract tools, report writing applications and other accounting-related software applications.
Skills:

Experience:
- Minimum 5-10 years’ experience in accounting/finance in public accounting or manufacturing.
- Experience in project management and/or financial management, including managing budgets, preparing estimates at complete and performing variance analysis.
- Process improvement experience.
Education:
- B.A. or B.S. degree in Finance, Accounting, Accounting Information Systems or Business Administration required.
- Green Belt certification is a plus.

The anticipated salary range for candidates who will work in Avon, OH is $115,900-$183,100 per year. The final pay offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience within the job, the type of years and experience within the industry and education. KBHC is a multi-state employer, and this pay scale may not reflect positions that work in other states or locations. Provided they meet all eligibility requirements under the applicable plan documents, employees (and their eligible dependents) will be eligible to enroll in group healthcare plans that offer medical, dental, vision, and basic life and disability insurance. Employees also will be able to enroll in our company’s 401k plan. Employees will also receive 120 hours of vacation leave and 40 hours of Personal Paid Absence every year. Employees will also enjoy 12 paid holidays, and 1 floating holiday throughout the calendar year, subject to relevant terms outlined in the employee handbook. 6 weeks of paid parental leave will also be available for use. Requirements for these benefits will be controlled by applicable plan documents and policies. Employees working on federal contracts covered by the Federal Paid Sick Leave requirements will be notified and will receive benefits consistent and compliant with the FPSL requirements.
