JOB DESCRIPTION:
Position Summary:
This position is responsible for working closely with the Global SAP Human Resources (HR) Organization and supporting SuccessFactor modules and cloud systems along with integration with the rest of the IT landscape. As a core member of the global IT HR team, responsibilities will include communication of planned change requests, release upgrades, and planning of necessary lifecycle and strategic initiatives in the IT HR and business portfolio. Data protection, IT security measures, and global standardization where possible, needs to be taken into consideration in all design decisions.
Essential Functions:
- Support of SuccessFactors modules and further cloud systems
- Support of new SuccessFactors implementations, improvements projects, post-merger integration or carve-out projects
- Collaboration with stakeholders, to define business requirements and align technology strategies with organizational goals
- Support management with cross-application solution design concepts, cost, and effort estimates in the project preparation phase.
- Analysis of existing systems and interfaces between cloud systems and other systems like SAP to identify gaps and recommended improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in daily business activities
- Management of SuccessFactors Releases
- Support in RFIs, RfPs and RFQs and vendor selection
- Support IT key account management in demand management up to the decision-making stage.
- Analyze recurring errors and develop solution approaches and communicate back to respective teams for implementation and documentation.
- Carry out 2nd level incident management in the assigned functional area in compliance with the defined SLAs in the area of Service Operation.
- Evaluation of new systems, technologies and tools and their potential usage within Knorr-Bremse
- Ensure regular and comprehensive communication with management representatives, business process owners and key users.
Knowledge:
- In-depth knowledge of all HR-IT applications and integrations within the cloud and on-prem landscape and technologies.
- Knowledge of integration points with other SAP modules (ex: SD, FI, PPM, SRM, PI/PO/CPI, and BW).
- Knowledge of integration points with other non-SAP HR applications (ex: payroll, Concur, time management, benefits, etc.).
- Knowledge of project management methodologies (ex: PMP, ASAP, Agile/Scrum) preferred
- Basic programming knowledge and debugging concepts a plus.
- Strong business process and system knowledge with the ability to recognize problems and implement root cause solutions as well as necessary improvements.
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of SuccessFactors / HR-IT experience on full life-cycle Implementations, Project rollouts and Support.
- Experience with integration of different HR systems and Non-HR Systems (payroll, time management, benefits, etc.,).
- Experience with configuration, data migration, interfaces, system upgrades and release upgrades.
Skills:.
- Extremely customer focused with a strong sense of urgency required.
- Strong problem solving, trouble shooting, and analytical skills.
- Ability to Identify and implement process improvements.
- Ability to manage and prioritize tasks with the business in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for cloud systems and integrations
- Excellent English communication skills: presentation, written, and oral
- Self-starter with ability to execute & manage daily functions.
- Strong interpersonal skills to successfully team with software vendors, outsourcing partners and KB global business and IT associates.
- Collaborate on strategic level with HR, HR-IT and other stakeholders in IT on system landscape development
Education:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science or similar
- Success Factors certification preferred.
- Basic ITIL knowledge a plus; ITIL certification a plus.
- Automotive industry and/or Manufacturing industry specific knowledge a plus.
- Project management certification a plus.
- Greenbelt certification a plus.
Position Requirements:
- Travel Up to 15% possible
