JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Title:  Engineer 2, Controls Vehicle

Job Location:  35500 Chester Road, Avon, OH 44011

Work Hours: Full time, 40 hours per week (M-F, 8 am to 5 pm)

Job Duties: Work closely with Engineering Leadership and Product Management to support new features for the Intellipark system; develop and execute technical plans such as analysis, simulation, bench, and vehicle test to validate system performance and parameter tuning; travel to the test track, winter test facility, and customer demos to support algorithm specific development and testing; provide technical support in troubleshooting escalated field issues; analyze and document results from simulation, bench, and test track experiments; apply vehicle knowledge to improve vehicle simulation tools including both non-real time and Hardware-In-the-Loop (HIL) simulation; benchmark competitive systems; interface with Software Developers, Systems Engineers, and customers to create and revise control system requirements; and support the development of the Global Electronic Park product line.

Minimum requirements:  Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Systems Engineering or in a related field. Three (3) years of experience in relevant engineering field. Must have experience with MATLAB/Simulink, Stateflow, LabVIEW, NI Test stand, CANoe, DLB, CANalyzer, CANape, JIRA, Model Based Algorithm Design, C, C++
 

Travel requirements: 25% domestic travel

Remote/work telecommuting: May work from home 2-3 days per week.
