JOB DESCRIPTION:

Position Summary:

Position is responsible for cash application, claims, analyzing activity on accounts, notice trends, taking action to get to root of issue.

Essential Functions:

• Cash application and claims management                                               
• Drive monthly collection efforts to achieve customer and team total targets.                                                                  
• Understanding specific customer traits to be able to support customer changes/ issues.                                                                  
• Responsible for cash forecasting on a monthly basis, including an understanding of variances to forecasts.

Required Skills:

• Strong skills in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.                                                
• Able to confidently and efficiently correspond to all levels of management.                                
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.                                                            
• Shows commitment to process improvement.                                           
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems preferred.
• Excellent organizational skill and professional communication skills

Required Experience:

• 1+ years of AR accounting experience in a high volume manufacturing environment preferred but not required                                                              
• ERP experience preferred (SAP preferred)
• Ability to work in a fast pace environment
• Knowledge of financial methodologies. 

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/related field or relevant experience
