JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job title: Analyst 2, Treasury (4621)

 

Position Summary:

 

This position is responsible for monitoring the liquidity position, daily cash positioning and optimizing cash resources, forecasting cash flows, assisting with managing banking relationships and financial FX risk for the North American operations.  The position collaborates closely with the Divisions, Accounts Payable, Credit and Tax departments as well as Group Treasury to coordinate strategic financial objectives for the Americas Region.

 

Essential Functions:

 

  • Oversees cash functions, including cash positioning, cash reporting and forecasting, short-term investing and borrowing, fraud prevention.
  • Manages bank account setup and maintenance along with bank relationship management.
  • Coordinates Guaranty Business (Corporate / Bank) and alignment with Group Treasury Department
  • Maintain and monitor current FX exposure and current hedge targets along with current market pricing.
  • Assist with trade executions, confirmations & documentation
  • Supports treasury and cash management operations and helps develop strategies to maximize efficiencies, safeguard assets and minimize costs.
  • Ensures compliance with internal controls, policies and procedures in day-to-day conduct
  • Recommends and implements improvements to current cash management processes.
  • Assists in preparing and managing annual budgets and forecasts.
  • Assists in working capital analyses as appropriate in context of strategy and business development needs
  • Identifies cost-saving and profit maximizing opportunities related to treasury.

 

Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of MS Office including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with IFRS
  • SAP or similar ERP system

 

Experience:

 

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Treasury or Finance
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, financial and debt instruments
  • Knowledge of banking relations
  • Experience working with global businesses/regional teams

 

 

Skills:

 

  • Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills and a positive/proactive work ethic.
  • Capable of prioritizing time/resources/ goals and possess strong interpersonal skills to ensure success in a cross-functional, team environment.
  • Excellent strategic skills and have demonstrated these skills in previous jobs.
  • Formulates new processes and strategic thinking and leads the development of new core processes to enhance business performance.

 

Education:

 

  • B.S. degree in Finance or Accounting is required. 
  • CTP or MBA is a plus
