JOB DESCRIPTION:

Position Summary:

 

The Warranty Claim Administrator enters and processes customer claim data using the SAP Warranty Claims module.   The position requires knowledge of standard warranty policies, customer agreements, and SAP warranty system knowledge to ensure claim responses are accurate and thorough.  The position is the primary contact for 800-line calls and e-mail information requests from the customer.  Work includes coordination with the Bendix Warranty Lab in Huntington and debit reconciliation questions with Bendix Account Receivables.  This position is also responsible for documenting data entry procedures and training.

 

Essential Functions:

 

  • Warranty Claim Data Entry Management and Data Entry
  • Respond to 800 Warranty Customer Helpline
  • Respond to customer emails & inquiries to claim status
  • Document control of incoming and processed claims
  • Organize and maintain Department files per Record Retention Guidelines
  • Drive timely completion of claim payments
  • Answer reconciliation questions from Accounting
  • Customer summary reporting

 

Knowledge:

 

  • Working knowledge of SAP
  • Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)

 

Experience:

 

  • 1 year of experience as a Customer Service related activities

 

Skills:

 

  • Promotes and maintains strong customer relationships

  • Good verbal communication skills
  • Strong bias for action; multi-task oriented; self starter
  • Detail oriented
  • Accurate data entry skills

 

Education:

 

  • High School degree
  • Associate Degree in General Business preferred but not required.
