Position Summary: SQD Governance & Data Analyst professional responsible for leading the team’s governance of Supplier Development Quality processes and strategies, achieved through project management of critical projects, while managing all related Supplier Quality performance metrics.  Specific focus on ongoing development/management of the Supplier Quality Performance dashboard, management updates, metric reporting, and all related analytics.  

Essential Functions:

  • Manage & continued development of Supplier Quality Performance Dashboard
  • Manage Supplier performance metric analytics & reporting

Support, plan and coordinate effective and successful Quality Imperative & Supplier Quality Development strategies through:  

  • Project management of major Supplier Quality Improvement projects 
  • Monitoring SQD group adherence to governance of critical business processes
  • Design & Manufacturability Reviews, Supplier Audits, Vendor escalation 
  • Collaboration with Supplier Quality Engineers and Project Leads, and manage special projects within the Supplier Development Team’s strategies 
  • Facilitate implementation and effective change due to implementation of new strategies for improvement.  


 Experience & Required Skills

  • Strong command of Microsoft office tools (Excel, PPT, etc)..
  • Strong analytical skills, including data/business analytics and problem solving
  • Demonstrated project management skills that include utilizing an organized approach, setting priorities, identifying risks and opportunities, milestones, in a matrix/cross-functional organization.
  • Familiarity & experience with SAP, related PLM tools
  • Self-starter, possessing high degree of self-motivation and bias for action 
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal and written communication skills 
  • Ability to multi-task in a high-paced environment 
  • Knowledge of TS16949, APQP and PPAP processes (Helpful, not required) 
  • Demonstrated ability to influence peers and management while leading cross-functional teams 
  • Build strong working relationships, gaining trust and setting example of success 
  • Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards  
  • Decision making ability and leadership skills  Bachelors’ Degree Required
