JOB DESCRIPTION:

Position Summary:

 

This position is responsible for acting as the interface and working with the Finance department to manage warranty costs (credits, debits and reconciliations). Reports all warranty metrics including financial and claim returns.

 

Essential Functions:

 

  • Partner with the Finance department and Product Business Team (PBT) Finance leads, to reconcile customer accounts warranty balance statement.
  • Develop and track warranty budget and metrics i.e. claims per thousand (C/1000).
  • Support warranty cost analysis by customer and product.
  • Support department procedures with Warranty Administrator.
  • Act as the primary interface with external finance and quality auditors for warranty.

 

Knowledge:

 

  • Knowledge of financial systems including FI/CO and IFRS.
  • Knowledge of SAP system.
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of basic statistics i.e. normalization, Weibull, histogram, etc.

 

Experience:

 

  • 0-2 years in Finance or related discipline and a
  • Minimum of 2 years in the trucking industry preferred
