YOUR TASKS

  • Drive the nXBrake Lab (responsible for the development of Knorr-Bremse's next generation rail vehicle brake control system) MBSE strategy as an expert for the systems modeling framework, methods, and applications
  • Develop and improve the model taxonomy and ontology in accordance with engineering stakeholders
  • Modeling of systems leveraging different perspectives and at various levels of abstraction
  • Implement model-based systems engineering, engineering processes, and methodologies that empower technical experts to model their domain specific engineering deliverables
  • Use model-based and data-driven processes to develop and refine strategies for the integration and management of Requirements, System Architecture & Design (structure & behavior), Functional Safety and Cyber Security, and Verification & Validation (incl. Testing)
  • Drive the provisioning of a digital thread engineering toolchain that considers applications for all domains and disciplines 
  • Enable a completely model-based / virtual development approach suitable for the development of complex and highly dependable (brake control) systems

 

YOUR PROFILE

  • University degree in Systems, Electrical, Software, Mechanical Engineering, or similar 
  • Minimum 5 years professional experience in SysML development - preferably with Cameo / Catia Magic Cyber Systems Engineer with Teamwork Cloud
  • Proven experience in the development of highly dependable mechatronic systems 
  • Proven experience in the implementation of a digital thread engineering toolchain connecting the engineering applications like Cameo/Catia Magic, Matlab/Simulink, Jama, Jira, etc.
  • GfSE or INCOSE certified Systems Engineer preferred
  • Business fluent communication in English, fluent German preferred
