Requirements：

• Bachelor's degree or above, graduate Engineering or Mechanic related.
• Minimal 5 years solid working experience in supplier quality management/development in the field of Machining and Stamping, Forging in the industry of automotive or machinery.
• Good experiences of process development in Stamping process /Machining, and Forging process as a plus.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Mission: Actively and continuously improve performance of suppliers in the responsible region in terms of quality, productivity and total cost in line with the category and supplier strategy.
• Enablement of strategic suppliers in the region related to the category strategy (selection, classification, supplier development, supplier release).
• Perform technology assessment of existing suppliers identified by Global Category Manager to define and execute improvements points, based on technical aspects.
• Supports Global SDE from Category and SQD from receiving plant location for the final approval (joint audit with Global SDE and/or SQD, based on VDA6.3 and/or PSA) of new supplier in the category, for the first project released.
• Supports the responsible SQD from the receiving plant location for the approval of the first PPAP part, for the new source in the region.
• Lead function for strategic category supplier development activities in the region:
• Establish measures and timeline for the suppliers to be developed together with the SQDs and ensure consistent execution of actions (monitoring and tracking).
• Evaluate, define and drive implementation of improvement measures regarding their impact on quality, cost reductions and realization of results with suppliers that are key for the category strategy in the region.
• Ensure execution of optimization projects with suppliers that are key for the category strategy in the region aiming to reduce rejects and rework.
• Align actions with the Global SDE. Support Global SDE for the quality related task-force activities, for critical suppliers in the region.
• For suppliers located in the SDE region, but delivering to Knorr-Bremse receiving location outside the region only. The Region SDE is responsible for the SQDs tasks from this supplier, according to SQD Position Description.
