2. Registration and Application

To merely view our job postings, you do not have to provide any personal data. An application to a job opening is only possible via our recruitment portal and requires prior registration.

To create a user account, you must provide the following information:

• First name
• Last name
• User name
• Password
• Email address
• Country of residence

After registration, you can complete your personal details and add preferences and attachments (e.g., CVs or references) via the recruitment assistant. Fields marked with (*) are mandatory.

3. Purpose and Legal Basis

We use your personal data solely for the recruitment process. The legal basis for processing is the decision on entering an employment relationship (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR).

Special categories of data: We only collect sensitive data where legally required or with your explicit consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR).

Talent Pool: If you join the Talent Pool, your data may be shared with HR employees in other Knorr-Bremse companies. You can withdraw your consent anytime via your candidate profile.

4. Recipients of Your Data

Your data may be shared with HR departments of Knorr-Bremse companies or external service providers for technical and functional support of the recruitment portal.

5. Data Transfers to Third Countries

Personal data may be transferred to countries outside the EU if you join the Talent Pool and consent to such transfers.

6. Data Deletion

- Applications and associated data are deleted six months after the process ends.
- Inactive applications are deleted after six months.
- User accounts are deleted six months after the last login unless there are active applications.

7. Automated Decision Making

Knorr-Bremse does not use automated decision-making (including profiling) during the recruitment process.

8. Cookies

Cookies are used to provide functionalities of the recruitment portal. These session cookies do not store personal data and are deleted at the end of your visit.

9. Your Rights

Subject to GDPR, you have the rights to access, rectify, delete, restrict, and transfer your data. You can withdraw your consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
