YOUR TASKS

• GLOBAL RESPONSIBILITY... for the production operations of Dr. Josef Zelisko GmbH in the Energy business unit at the sites in Mödling, Arifiye and Holice (approx. 250 employees)
• RESPONSIBILITY... for establishing and implementing a new production site in the USA, including planning, execution, and ensuring compliance with global standards
• MANAGEMENT... and continuous development of the local plant management teams as well as the Industrial Engineering team, including competency development and fostering effective team collaboration
• FURTHER DEVELOPMENT... of the global production strategy with a focus on designing a future-oriented production network (footprint), identifying and implementing investment decisions, and initiating and realizing site expansions
• RESPONSIBILITY... for implementing rationalization and improvement measures to ensure quality and cost targets in accordance with KB Group guidelines.
• RESPONSIBILITY... for production-related KPIs such as internal revenue, backlog, ratio metrics, productivity, delivery performance, quality of work performed, budget, team productivity metrics, etc.
• COLLABORATION... with Maintenance, Engineering, IT, and external technology partners
• ACTIVE KNOWLEDGE EXCHANGE... with other production units within the Knorr-Bremse Group
• COORDINATION... of safety audits, risk assessments, and training programs to maintain a safe working environment, as well as monitoring company-wide occupational safety guidelines

YOUR PROFILE

• Completed technical degree (e.g., Automation Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Industrial Engineering)
• Several years of professional experience in a management position (including budget responsibility) within a manufacturing company
• Solid expertise in electrical engineering (transformer production, winding technology) or potting technology for windings, as well as modern automation systems
• Experience with Lean Management, digital platforms, and continuous improvement (CIP)
• Excellent German and English skills, strong negotiation abilities, entrepreneurial mindset, and analytical thinking
• Intercultural competence, strong communication skills, and a pronounced hands-on mentality
• Willingness to travel to national and international sites, subsidiaries, and partners (approx. 30% of working time)
