YOUR TASKS

 

  • DISTRIBUTION... of procurement measures in Europe/globally for the product groups for which you are responsible, in order to fully exploit synergy effects at company level
  • DEVELOPMENT... and implementation of commodity strategies
  • ANALYSIS... of the procurement market, identification of new sources of supply, participation in the qualification and integration of new suppliers
  • NEGOTIATION... of product prices and hourly rates, conclusion of purchasing contracts, ensuring sufficient contract coverage
  • EVALUATION... of suppliers, creation of action plans for supplier development
  • MONITORING... of supplier performance, improvement of suppliers in the areas of delivery reliability, quality and sustainability
  • ALIGNMENT... with supplier development team, regional governance team, value engineering, manufacturing sites, purchasing managers and strategic buyers
  • DRIVE... cost improvement actions with suppliers, production locations and internal customers
  • LEAD... cross-location savings projects
  • SHAPING... the mobility of the future

 

 

YOUR PROFILE

 

  • Completed technical and/or economic studies or profound technical education
  • Several years of experience in strategic purchasing or commodity management of metal components
  • Industrial/technical experience in purchasing of sheet metal parts, welded assemblies and coolers is an advantage
  • Experience in sustainability (especially Scope 3.1) is an advantage
  • International experience in mid-size or large multinational companies
  • Ability to work independently in cross-functional and cross-locational teams to find constructive solutions
  • SAP knowledge
  • Fluent in German and English, Spanish is an advantage
  • RELIABILITY and READINESS TO TRAVEL
  • Analytical thinking, negotiation skills
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
