JOB DESCRIPTION:

Senior ERP Business Strategist

Location: Remote

Position Summary:

KB Signaling is seeking a highly skilled and strategic Senior ERP Business Strategist to lead the optimization and governance of our SAP ERP environment. This role will serve as a key liaison between IT and business units, ensuring that ERP capabilities are fully leveraged to support business goals, drive process improvements, and maintain compliance with Segregation of Duties (SoD) and governance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

ERP Strategy & Optimization

·       Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement and ERP optimization.

·       Drive strategic initiatives to enhance the value and efficiency of SAP ERP across the organization.

·       Lead efforts to align ERP capabilities with evolving business needs and industry best practices.

Governance & Compliance

·       Ensure compliance with Segregation of Duties (SoD) policies and internal controls.

·       Participate in and support ERP governance boards and decision-making forums.

·       Develop and maintain documentation for ERP governance processes and standards.

Reporting & Business Intelligence

·       Support and enhance reporting capabilities using SAP BI, queries, and related tools.

·       Partner with business units to define and deliver meaningful KPIs and dashboards.

·       Ensure data integrity and consistency across reporting platforms.

Key User Support & Escalation

·       Act as the primary escalation point for local key users.

·       Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure effective ERP usage.

·       Coordinate with IT and external vendors to resolve complex ERP issues.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

·       Work closely with functional and technical teams to ensure seamless integration and performance of ERP modules.

·       Lead or support cross-functional projects involving ERP enhancements or new module implementations.

Continuous Improvement

·       Stay current with SAP innovations, updates, and industry trends.

·       Recommend and implement best practices for ERP usage and governance.

Qualifications:

·       Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).

·       7+ years of experience in ERP systems, with a strong focus on SAP.

·       Proven experience in ERP roles, SoD compliance, and business process improvement.

·       Strong knowledge of SAP reporting tools (e.g., SAP Query, SAP BI, Fiori, etc.).

·       Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

·       Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence without direct authority.

Desirable:

·       Experience with SoD compliance tools (e.g., GRC, IAG)

·       Familiarity with audit and compliance frameworks.

·       Project management or change management experience
