JOB DESCRIPTION:

Indirect Buyer Job Description

• Manage the sourcing and procurement of assigned scope for indirect commodities related to operations sub-contracting, engineering services, consumables, transportation and logistics, temporary labor services,  capital equipment, MRO, construction, site services, Vendor Manager Inventories for consumable used in manufacturing operations.
• Execute Indirect Purchasing Strategy within area of responsibility
• Drive the quotation processes, define evaluation criteria, identify and select suppliers, execute the evaluation process, refine and validate sourcing and purchasing options, manage buy-in of business unit leaders.
• Identification of internal users’ needs and specification building/alignment for products and services within Indirect category
• Prepare and execute indirect contract negotiations in region in alignment with single facility needs
• Manage contract information to ensure that the portfolio has consistent information and renewals, or termination due date are under control.

• Ability to communicate effectively (both verbal and written)in line with team members, vendors and stakeholders.
• Adapt to dynamic environment.
• General knowledge of Microsoft office.

Qualifications for indirect buyer

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
