Position Summary
The Calibration Engineering Technician (CET) is the single point of accountability for the Huntington Site Calibration Management System. This role retains total ownership of the calibration schedule, master inventory, and compliance tracking for all gages and measurement equipment across Quality, Maintenance, HSE, Engineering, and Manufacturing. While the physical calibration of certain equipment will continue to be performed by designated departmental personnel (such as Maintenance) or external vendors, the CET provides centralized oversight. The primary mandate of this position is to ensure that all site-wide calibration activities are properly scheduled, executed on time, and documented in strict compliance with internal standards, quality systems, and customer requirements, regardless of who performs the actual calibration.

- Lead responses to calibration-related audit findings
- Ensure calibration labels, identification systems, and supporting documentation are strictly maintained across the entire facility
- Vendor Management and Continuous Improvement
- Coordinate equipment shipments and returns for outside calibration
- Review calibration certificates for compliance and traceability
- Monitor and maintain approved vendor information, evaluating supplier performance related to quality, delivery, responsiveness, and cost
