Manager, Digital Marketing & Processes
Position Summary:
As a leader in the marketing function, this position is responsible for developing and ensuring efficient and effective development and execution of the digital marketing strategies and digital marketing campaigns across all product lines through multiple digital channels in line with company’s strategy and objectives. This position is responsible for driving promotions, campaigns, and selling products through the internet, mobile devices, social media, search engines, display advertising, and other channels. This entails overseeing, optimizing, sustaining the use of digital marketing programs and processes to drive results
Essential Functions:
- Managing a team to plan and Implement the digital marketing strategy, for the business (all product lines). Increase the company’s digital presence and visibility with all stakeholders to drive the desired results that must be data-driven.
- Leading the development, management, and implementation of digital marketing processes, workflow and channel strategies to ensure business and profit growth.
- Planning and leading digital marketing research programs and activities.
- Partnering with the business to develop, manage, and implement the short and long-term digital marketing campaigns to promote the company’s products.
- Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. Regularly works with the sales operations team, aftermarket team and the product marketing team to ensure effective communication alignment to maintain and enhance Bendix’s digital presence.
- Utilizing the company’s resources in a prioritized manner that allows for strong branding.
- Partnering cross functionally to coordinate and manage multiple digital marketing projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project plans including budget.
- Assisting in planning and managing the digital marketing budget, aligned with its respective sales and marketing plans
- Collaborating with the sales account teams, customers, and vendors to source and provide data-driven feedback on campaigns and programs. Consistently looks for the feedback and aligns to process improvements where applicable.
- Managing a marketing team to ensure employee performance and development is addressed along with ensuring goals and objectives are met for the individual and the business needs.
- Partnering within the business to recommend and select digital marketing tools and technologies to support process optimization. Monitor and analyze process performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes.
- Ensuring efficient utilization of existing tools and platforms, includes training others as needed.
- Identifies market trends and uses web analytic tools to analyze campaign performance, bringing forth insight into what competitors are doing in the market.
- Developing a firm understanding of market segmentation audiences that consume Bendix digital content within the commercial vehicle industry.
- Ability to lead technical writing team including process improvements, work prioritization, contractor management & tool management.
Knowledge:
- Extensive knowledge of digital marketing practices and techniques.
- Extensive knowledge in using digital marketing tools, analytics, and platforms.
- Maintains current knowledge of online marketing opportunities and trends, web analytics, and SEO techniques.
- Overall commercial vehicle industry knowledge of the OE, Fleet, Dealer and Aftermarket channels, including OES, IAM a plus
- A sound grasp of high level overall vehicle systems including braking (pneumatic, and electrical architecture) and the interactions of the braking systems with other portions of the vehicle (i.e. engine, transmission, dash and interface to the operator of the vehicle) preferred.
Experience:
- 7+ years of experience in marketing, sales, product management, program management or business development required.
- Must have experience in marketing industrial-type products.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the automotive, commercial vehicle or heavy industrial equipment industry required.
- 3+ years of experience in digital marketing, with a focus on process management.
- Experience with digital marketing automation tools (e.g., Hubspot, Marketo, Google analytics) is preferred.
- Experience with Search Engine Opitmization (SEO) and Search Engine Marketing (SEM).

- Demonstrated ability to effectively lead and influence others in a matrix environment.
- Strong ability to work through constraints which could be out of your control. Must manage stress quickly while remaining calm with a strong ability to control emotions and behaviors.
- Excellent project management skills.
- Strong collaborator who puts team success before individual contributions; but can work independently and get the job done with minimal direction
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, specifically Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, and analysis.
- Fluent in English; Bi-lingual a plus
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Sales,( Engineering, Communications, or related business with marketing experience) area required.
- MBA preferred.
- Greenbelt certification a plus.
