Position Summary:

 

This position is responsible for leading the North America sales and marketing analytics efforts including, but not limited to; design and administer customer facing programs, forecasting and report financials monthly, work with sales leadership on creation and process improvements for dashboards via Power BI and CRM, calculation, and administration of internal and external programs.  Mining data from primary and secondary sources, to examine what happened, consider why something happened, compare descriptive data, and determine the outcomes by detecting tendencies in descriptive and diagnostic analysis.

 

Essential Functions:

 

  • Collect and analyze past and current sales data for trends in productivity to help develop sales strategies.  This includes organizing data related to sales numbers, market research, logistics, and other attributes that drive customer behaviors.  Main resource will be the Customer Relationship Management Tool (CRM).
  • Recommend and implement process improvements to the collection of data.   
  • Administer reporting and dashboards to assist the sales team in customer outreach and target achievement.
  • Administer customer programs to ensure prompt resolution.
  • Manage financial forecasts related to customer programs.
  • Drive process improvements and track efforts to determine Return on Investment.
  • Report results and KPI metrics for customer programs
  • Customer expert supporting voice of the customer and SAP functionality as applicable.
  • Coordinate automation of customer administrative programs with IT including changes and updates.
  • Support external demos and use analytics to follow-up and track product leads and sales engagement.
  • Support the North American Sales Meeting as needed.

 

Knowledge:

 

  • Strong marketing/telemarketing understanding including digital, targeted, and direct marketing.
  • Must have robust system knowledge and acumen. Comfortable around analytical tools and willingness to recommend improvements.
  • Strong knowledge of sales strategies and customer loyalty programs.
  • General understanding of long-term agreements and customer contracts.
  • Strong understanding of diagnostic analytics
  • Financial acumen (budgets and financial analysis).
  • Fluent-level English skills required

 

Experience:

 

  • Analyst 1 = 2-5 years’ experience in a marketing/data analyst role in the Business-to-Business Industry.
  • Analyst 2 = 5+ years’ experience in a marketing/data analyst role in the Business-to-Business Industry.
  • Analyst 3 = 7+ years’ experience in a marketing/data analyst role in the Business-to-Business Industry.
  • Commercial vehicle/ automotive industry preferred.
  • Experience in customer relationship management tools and/or marketing research.
