JOB DESCRIPTION:

Position Summary:

Serve as a key member of the Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems financial planning and analysis team providing analysis to drive performance and achieve business objectives for the new CoC/Product Group structure.

Essential Functions:
• Provide financial support for certain Product Groups
• Prepare product group and customer P&L’s for all CoC’s
• Prepare and review monthly analysis of results (BS, P&L and Cash Flow Statement) to ensure the overall financials are properly reflected in management reports
• Analyze, identify and communicate risks and opportunities in a timely manner
• Provide structured and ad hoc reporting and support to various groups including, FP&A, business units, the Bendix Leadership Council and corporate headquarters
• Assist in identifying, evaluating and implementing process improvements as needed
• Preparation, coordination and review financial forecasts and various monthly presentation packages for management reviews
• Support financial forecasts as well as annual and mid-year budgeting processes
• Interface with General Accounting to support various activities related to Month/Quarter/Year-end closing
• Provide other financial and analytical support as requested
Required Skills:
• Self-starter who is action oriented and possesses a strong sense of urgency
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills – Fluent English required
• Possesses strong analytical and technical skills
• Demonstrated business case development
• Working knowledge of IFRS preferred    
• Utilizes creative/innovative solutions to resolve complex problems/issues
• Excellent project/process management skills
• Possesses exceptional planning and organizational skills
• Strong systems and data management skills required
• Capable of performing in a customer-focused, team-based matrix organization is essential
• Capable of successfully performing independently as well as in a team setting
• Results oriented with demonstrated capability of meeting tight deadlines
• Pursues training and/or experiences for self-development
• Advanced Excel modeling and PowerPoint (Think Cell) required

Experience:
• Minimum 7 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
• SAP or other similar financial ERP systems experience is required
Education:
• B.A. or B.S. degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration required, MBA preferred
