JOB DESCRIPTION:

Position Summary: 

 

Responsible for Bendix Acuna tool crib operations, maintain inventory accuracy above 98%, ensure all team members are properly trained, using 5S as a strategy to keep warehouse and receiving areas according to established standards, promoting a safe and healthy environment for all team members. 

 

Essential Functions: 

 

  • Lead / supervise Tool Crib operations for all Acuna Bendix Operations. 

  • Audit, control and approve weekly overtime. 

  • Cooperate with MRO buyers in cost savings efforts as well as any other MRO projects identified as part of the MRO purchasing strategy.  

  • Maintain inventory accuracy above 98% 

  • Sustain a steady cycle count program and ensure root cause analysis is completed for any possible inventory discrepancies.  

  • Responsible for Goods Receipt process and GR audit process are being followed correctly.  

  • Assist tool crib team with workload as needed. 

  • Evaluate Min/Max for tool crib materials and propose improvements to MRO buyer. 

  • Assures team members are trained before performing any task. 

  • Responsible for equipment movement/procurement needed for tool crib operations. 

  • Responsible of data analysis for tool crib consumption to alert of any possible anomaly or spikes. 

  • Review and maintain service PO’s reports to ensure all Service GR’s are being posted on time. 

  • Review and resolve invoicing issues with suppliers and accounts payable team. 

  • Responsible for establishing and maintaining clear and effective procedures for tool crib operations. 

  • Effectively escalating any issues or potential problems to the appropriate levels for consultation or resolution. 

  • Conducts meetings, prepares, and presents reports, and provide information to identify improvements/opportunities. 

  • Performs duties as requested, directed, or assigned. 

 

Knowledge 

  • Microsoft Office knowledge required with pivot tables, reporting and chart modules required. 

  • SAP inventory management knowledge is a must. 

 

Education 

  • High-school diploma is required. College/bachelor’s degree is a plus. 

  • 3 + years in materials management in a manufacturing environment. 

 

Experience 

  • Demonstrated experience in warehousing, receiving and inventory management. 

  • Demonstrated experience in supervision/leadership including performance management. 

  • Demonstrated problem solving methods. 

 

Skills 

  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and written communication skills. 

  • Strong dedication and work ethic is required.  

  • Capable of identify and conduct warehouse optimizations for all tool crib locations. 

  • Ability to multi-task in a high paced environment. 

  • Ability to influence peers and lead by example to cross functional teams. 

  • Self-starter, processing high degree of self-motivation, action oriented. 

  • Bilingual desirable.
